Even with all this pain Cassandra wants to push herself to become more independent. Lowering her steroids will go a long way to helping her walk again. October 7th is her next treatment. We are hoping that with every treatment she will see better or faster results.
Bikes, Blues, and BBQ was held this week. Some of the people at JB Hunt held a poker run for Cassandra. Altogether, they raised $3500 for us. That money and other donations to our gofundme site have really gone a long way to helping us pay some of our medical debt. We cannot thank you all enough for everything you have done.
Its been a while since we have posted any pictures. Here is Cassandra getting some quality time with Little E before bedtime.

I thought about you over the weekend and hoped you were feeling a bit better. You are a fighter girl. Don't give up girl, God willing you can still do this. You have overcome so much. ReplyDeleteI just wanted to send you a short note to let you know your Mother/Son picture is so beautiful and such a treasure to see. How the love you two are sharing is radiating out amongst all of us, even in a quiet moment. Please try not to be discouraged....I know that sounds so silly, but God loves you so very much and is walking with you at all times. Take your time and don't push yourself so hard....you are such an amazing individual. Relax and let this new process work within and let it spread throughout to help remove & fight everything too. Soon it will all work together and hopefully that "sunshine" will be shining brightly again for you!! Remember....tie the knot and hang on, and we'll all be here to help you with that rope. Keep standing tall and your family, loving husband Eric and that handsome lil son Elliott all right there by your side, will help you to keep fighting so you can get stronger everyday! Every little bit will add up to big changes later... do not give up! I almost feel guilty for saying that not really knowing how bad it has been for you. I just know we have got been witness to the awesome endurance and positive attitude you have shown. I pray this new medicine will work well!!! I'm sure it will, it just takes a little time. ReplyDeleteI know that you are feeling a lot better today girl. The fall is sure in the air today, and that wind is blowing blowing. Get the hot chocolate, hot tea or coffee ready because you may want some these next 2 or 3 days. We have had a good summer and I know that you will enjoy the fall weather also. Fall begins the cuddle time with your love ones, and especially the little one. I love that picture of you two in the rocking chair. Mine is all grown up now and has a child of his own, but I would love to have those times back again. Enjoy and we love you and praying for all of you.

So happy that makes me want to pray harder for thanks thus far and pray that God continues to ease your pain and put you back in action to take care of that bundle of joy.
